Podak Co., LTD. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 970.03 million compared to TWD 744.76 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 84.28 million compared to TWD 63.09 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.57 compared to TWD 1.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.56 compared to TWD 1.17 a year ago.
PODAK CO., LTD. is principally engaged in the agent distribution of Panasonic passive products and Panasonic active products. The Company is also engaged in the distribution of other products, including batteries, relays, motors, connectors, surveillance system equipment, light-emitting diode (LED) tubes and home appliances. The Panasonic passive products include solid capacitors, electrolytic capacitors, plastic capacitors, power chokes and gold capacitors. The Panasonic active products include transistors, diodes, metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFETs) and LEDs. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan and Mainland China.
