Forside Co.,Ltd. (JASDAQ:2330) agreed to acquire unknown minority stake in Kadokawa Haruki Corporation from Haruki Kadokawa on June 25, 2021. Forside plans to acquire 1,475 shares of Haruki Kadokawa's common stock and 448 shares of treasury stock held by Haruki Kadokawa, for a total of 1,923 shares (15% of his outstanding common stock). As at August 31, 2020, Kadokawa Haruki had total assets of ¥2.68 billion and net assets of ¥1.04 billion. For the year ended August 31, 2020, Kadokawa Haruki had revenues of ¥2.35 billion and operating loss of ¥93 million. The expected share transfer date is June 30, 2021.
