Forside Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:2330) agreed to acquire 40% stake in Japan Rental Apartment Guarantee Organization Co., Ltd. from REXEM Co., Ltd. for approximately ¥400 million on May 17, 2017. The contract will be concluded on June 2, 2017 by both the parties. Under the terms of the transaction, Forside Co., Ltd. will acquire 1600 shares of Japan Rental Apartment Guarantee Organization Co., Ltd. at ¥0.25 million per share. Concurrently, Forside Co., Ltd. will issue shares to fund the transaction. As of May 17, 2017, Board of Forside Co., Ltd. resolved the transaction. The transaction is expected to complete on June 2, 2017. Consulting Mall Co., Ltd acted as independent third party appraiser for the transaction. As part of the consideration, Forside Co., Ltd. will pay ¥2 million of advisory cost for the transaction.
