Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 199.190 million compared to TWD 167.613 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 63.398 million compared to TWD 50.389 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 46.052 million compared to TWD 39.356 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.2 compared to TWD 1.18 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 555.729 million compared to TWD 432.380 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 159.790 million compared to TWD 97.352 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 125.889 million compared to TWD 81.542 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.27 compared to TWD 2.44 a year ago.
Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, production and distribution of precision optical components, dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) key components, such as thin film filter (TFF). The Company mainly provides optical filters used as active and passive components for optical communication. In addition, it is involved in the optical coating for light emitting diode (LED) optical crystal chips. The Company also distributes spectrometers. The Companyâs products are applied in the local area network, consumer electronics, displays and others. It distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
