Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 129.033 million compared to TWD 165.058 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 5.853 million compared to TWD 40.068 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1.277 million compared to TWD 36.486 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.03 compared to TWD 0.95 a year ago.
Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, production and distribution of precision optical components, dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) key components, such as thin film filter (TFF). The Company mainly provides optical filters used as active and passive components for optical communication. In addition, it is involved in the optical coating for light emitting diode (LED) optical crystal chips. The Company also distributes spectrometers. The Companyâs products are applied in the local area network, consumer electronics, displays and others. It distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
