Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 191.481 million compared to TWD 137.640 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 43.351 million compared to TWD 24.782 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.12 compared to TWD 0.74 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 356.539 million compared to TWD 264.767 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 79.837 million compared to TWD 42.186 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.07 compared to TWD 1.26 a year ago.
Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, production and distribution of precision optical components, dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) key components, such as thin film filter (TFF). The Company mainly provides optical filters used as active and passive components for optical communication. In addition, it is involved in the optical coating for light emitting diode (LED) optical crystal chips. The Company also distributes spectrometers. The Companyâs products are applied in the local area network, consumer electronics, displays and others. It distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
