Shima Seiki Mfg. Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2019. Ordinary loss was JPY 944 million compared to income of JPY 3,670 million a year ago. For the first half on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 23,000 million, operating income of JPY 400 million, ordinary income of JPY 700 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 600 million and net income per share of JPY 16.90.

For the full year ending March 31, 2020 on a consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 52,300 million, operating income of JPY 4,000 million, ordinary income of JPY 4,400 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 3,300 million and net income per share of JPY 92.93.

For the first half of fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects to pay a dividend of JPY 20.00 per share against JPY 30.00 a year ago.

For the full year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects to pay a dividend of JPY 25 per share against JPY 25.00 per share a year ago.
