Medical Ikkou Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:3353) agreed to acquire Taiho Yakuhin Co., Ltd. from Seiichi Asai on March 28, 2016. Medical Ikkou will acquire 0.02 million shares of Taiho Yakuhin. On completion, Taiho Yakuhin will become a subsidiary of Medical Ikkou. Taiho Yakuhin reported net assets of ¥37.35 million, total assets of ¥393.73 million, sales of ¥631.94 million, operating loss of ¥1.48 million and net loss of ¥7.57 million during the period ended March 2015. The transaction is expected to close by April 1, 2016.
