The board of directors of Luks Group (Vietnam Holdings) Company Limited announced that with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting held on 24 May 2023, Mr. LIU Li Yuan has retired as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company, the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nomination Committee of the Board; Mr. LIANG Fang has retired as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company, the Chairman of the Audit Committee, the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Board; Mr. WONG Hoi Wah has been appointed as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company, the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of the Board; Ms. PANG Siu Yin has been appointed as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company, the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nomination Committee of the Board; Mr. LAM Chi Kuen, currently an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company and a member of the Audit Committee, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Board. Mr. WONG Hoi Wah, aged 79, is currently serving as a consultant of Shenzhen TCL New Technology Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of TCL Technology Group.

Mr. WONG has over 50 years of experience in electronic engineering, having served as chief engineer of TCL Multimedia Electronics Co. Ltd. before being appointed as a consultant of Shenzhen TCL New Technology Co. Ltd. Ms. PANG Siu Yin, aged 62, is a holder of a Master Degree of laws from The Victoria University of Manchester.

Ms. PANG was previously a practicing solicitor in Hong Kong and had been a partner of Messrs. Cheung Tong & Rosa Solicitors for almost 20 years, with a corporate commercial emphasis (involving advising on corporate finance, governance and compliance of Hong Kong listed companies). She had acted as company secretary for a few Hong Kong listed companies for a number of years.
