Kyungdong Invest Co., Ltd (KOSE:A012320) acquired an additional 48.6% stake in KyungDong Co., Ltd from Wonjin Co., Ltd., Kyungdong Everon Company Ltd. and KyungDong One Co., Ltd. for KRW 29.7 billion on December 27, 2018. Kyungdong Invest acquired 1.5 million shares of KyungDong Co., Ltd and increased its stake to 98.55%. KyungDong Co., Ltd reported total assets of KRW 170.4 billion and net assets of KRW 84.7 billion as of December 31, 2017 and revenues of KRW 95.3 billion and net profit of KRW 5.2 billion for the year ended December 31, 2017. The transaction is resolved by the board of Kyungdong Invest Co., Ltd.

KYUNGDONG INVEST CO., LTD., formerly KYUNGDONG CITY GAS CO., LTD., is a Korea-based company engaged city gas business. The Company supplies liquefied natural gas (LNG) to residential, commercial and industrial customers in Ulsan city and Ansan city. It also sells gas boilers, and provides compressed natural gas (CNG) charging services. Through its subsidiaries, it is involved in the LNG piping works, high pressure works, water and sewage equipment engineering, logistics services, such as warehouse services, logistics management and others, provision of city gas safety management services (SMSs), as well as civil engineering and building construction, such as road, railways and apartments, among others. On March 31, 2014, the Company established a wholly owned subsidiary, engaged in the development business.
