Kyungdong Invest Co., Ltd reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 5,047.37 million compared to KRW 4,644.36 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 475.47 million compared to KRW 137.45 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 222 compared to KRW 147 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 218 compared to KRW 63 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was KRW 218 compared to KRW 63 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 15,080.71 million compared to KRW 13,905.11 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 6,476.03 million compared to KRW 7,196.29 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 3,023 compared to KRW 3,563 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 2,970 compared to KRW 3,277 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was KRW 2,970 compared to KRW 3,277 a year ago.
KYUNGDONG INVEST CO., LTD., formerly KYUNGDONG CITY GAS CO., LTD., is a Korea-based company engaged city gas business. The Company supplies liquefied natural gas (LNG) to residential, commercial and industrial customers in Ulsan city and Ansan city. It also sells gas boilers, and provides compressed natural gas (CNG) charging services. Through its subsidiaries, it is involved in the LNG piping works, high pressure works, water and sewage equipment engineering, logistics services, such as warehouse services, logistics management and others, provision of city gas safety management services (SMSs), as well as civil engineering and building construction, such as road, railways and apartments, among others. On March 31, 2014, the Company established a wholly owned subsidiary, engaged in the development business.
