Ishii Hyoki Co., Ltd. (TSE:6336) announced a private placement of 307,835 shares of its treasury common stock at ¥536 per share for gross proceeds of ¥164,999,560 on October 22, 2014. The transaction will involve sole participation from new investor, Chuyo Electronics Co., Ltd. On closing of the transaction, the investor will hold 3.69% stake in the company. The transaction is expected to close on November 7, 2014. The company will issue the shares by way of third party allotment. The company expects to incur ¥13,000,000 as issue costs in the transaction. The issue costs include other parties of the acquisition and allotment investigation expenses and document creation expenses. The net proceeds from the transaction will be ¥151,999,560. The transaction was approved by the board of directors of the company.
On November 7, 2014, Ishii Hyoki Co., Ltd. closed the transaction.
