Grupe, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 850.26 million compared to MXN 908.19 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 22.72 million compared to MXN 36.28 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.3233 compared to MXN 0.5355 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.3233 compared to MXN 0.5355 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was MXN 2,562.79 million compared to MXN 2,533.24 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 181.61 million compared to MXN 328.44 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 2.8183 compared to MXN 5.0743 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 2.8183 compared to MXN 5.0743 a year ago.
Grupe SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged in the hospitality industry. The Company's activities are divided into four business segments: Hotel Services, Timeshare, Real Estate and Clubs. The Hotel Services division owns and manages El Cid Resorts, located in Mazatlan, Cancun and Cozumel, Mexico. The Timeshare area is responsible for the operation and leasing of timeshare properties. The Real Estate segment focuses on the development and management of hotel properties.
