Dynapac Co., Ltd. (TSE:3947) agreed to acquire paper packaging business in Soka City and Kawaguchi City from Crown Paper Industry Co., Ltd. and Nakano Paper Trading Co., Ltd. for ¥1.2 billion on May 27, 2016. Crown Paper Industry and Nakano Paper Trading will sell 33.3% and 66.7% stake respectively. On completion, the business will operate as Crown Paper Industry Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to complete by July 1, 2016.
Dynapac Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of packaging materials and its related business. The Packaging Material-related segment manufactures and sells corrugated fiberboard sheets and cases, printed paper products, decorated corrugated fiberboard, paper trays, micro flute corrugated board, offset printings, gravure printings, plastic films, corrugated fiberboard cushions and chemical products, among others. The Real Estate segment is engaged in the leasing of real estate properties.
