Noting the court-ordered liquidation of HDI (Habitat Design International) on December 28, the Cafom retail group says it is 'studying the best options for enhancing the value of the Habitat brand'.

It recalls that it granted the brand license to HDI as part of the sale of HDI's entire share capital to Terence Capital on October 6, 2020, as part of a refocusing on the operation of franchises in French overseas territories and e-commerce sites.

However, Cafom has decided to terminate the brand license 'due to growing customer dissatisfaction with HDI, which has been reported in the press, particularly with regard to defective delivery of goods ordered'.
