Voltabox AG has announced a strategic cooperation agreement with INOMO. The two companies are in the advanced stages of planning the construction of a production line that will manufacture industrial-grade Energy Storage containers for outdoor use. Voltabox will contribute its extensive expertise in the field of high-voltage battery systems as well as many years of production experience in the industrial environment.

Voltabox high-voltage modules are combined with the INOMO product platform, which consists of both hardware and software solutions, and the INOMO energy management system to create high-performance stationary storage units. The partnership is one cornerstone of Voltabox' strategy to develop the stationary energy storage market. In the future, the company will be able to offer not only Energy Storage Solutions from partners with standardized sizes and energy contents, but also flexibly scalable stationary storage systems that can be individually tailored to customer requirements.

The production facility for Energy Storage Units will be equipped with the necessary equipment by the beginning of 2024. The cooperation partners plan to begin manufacturing battery storage units for outdoor use in the first quarter. This offers commercial customers the opportunity to make their energy supply more sustainable and independent, for example by storing renewable energy.

The use of on-site storage solutions can therefore optimize energy efficiency and reduce costs. By focusing on the production of own Energy Storage containers, the cooperation partners are targeting commercial and industrial customers. The production design will be such that it is possible to manufacture high quality, customized storage solutions from 200 kWh.

Voltabox will intensively promote its extended range of stationary storage solutions in the market through its own projects and sales. In addition, synergies will also be leveraged in the future through the product offering of the GreenCluster subsidiary, whose sales team will be demonstrating to customers the benefits of combining products for infrastructural energy generation and storage.
