--The move follows a series of leadership changes at the Anglo-Dutch multisector retailer since activist investor Nelson Peltz joined the board, according to the FT.

--Unilever--which owns consumer brands such as Ben & Jerry's ice cream and Dove soap--has faced growing investor discontent over a disappointing share price and an unsuccessful takeover of the consumer health arm of GSK in late 2021.
