Unifi, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2024. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 149 million compared to USD 156.74 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 10.3 million compared to USD 5.18 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.57 compared to USD 0.29 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.57 compared to USD 0.29 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 424.76 million compared to USD 472.47 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 43.41 million compared to USD 31.06 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 2.4 compared to USD 1.72 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 2.4 compared to USD 1.72 a year ago.

The Americas and Asia segments primarily sell recycled and synthetic products to yarn manufacturers, knitters and weavers that produce yarn and/or fabric for the apparel, hosiery, home furnishings, automotive, industrial, medical, and other end-use markets principally in North and Central America, Asia and Europe. The Brazil Segment sells recycled and synthetic products to knitters and weavers that produce fabric for the apparel, home furnishings, automotive, industrial, and other end-use markets principally in Brazil. It offers polyester and nylon products, and recycled solutions.
