For the period, the company expected Operating revenue JPY 8,900 million, Operating profit JPY 3,000 million, Profit attributable to owners of parent JPY 2,400 million and Basic earnings per share JPY 82.88.

The Securities Trading segment is engaged in the purchase, sale, brokerage and intermediary of securities of listed companies, as well as the purchase of bonds. The Foreign Exchange Trading segment is engaged in the provision of foreign currency-based financial derivative products, as well as the trading of foreign exchange margins and options. This segment provides an around-the-clock trading environment for its clients. This segment is also engaged in the management of assets that are used for the trading of foreign exchange margin and options.
