Tokai Lease Co., Ltd. (TSE:9761) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 50,000 shares, representing 1.44% of its share capital, for ¥70 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to enable the implementation of a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment. The share repurchase program will run until March 31, 2020. As of March 31, 2019, the company had 3,476,039 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 18,283 shares in treasury.
TOKAI LEASE CO., LTD. is primarily engaged in the lease and sale business of temporary buildings, unit houses and related fixtures and fittings. The Lease and Sale of Temporary Buildings segment leases and sells temporary buildings, and parts and materials. The Lease and Sale of Fixtures and Fittings segment leases and sells related fixtures and fittings. The Lease and Sale of Unit Houses segment leases and sells unit houses, and sanitary mobile buildings such as toilets. In China, the Company is only involved in the lease and sale business of temporary buildings through the local subsidiaries. Besides, the Company also provides transport, construction and repair work.
