SMS Co., Ltd. (TSE:2175) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 876,400 shares, representing 1.01% of its share capital for ¥2,000 million. The shares will be repurchased in order to enable flexible implementation of capital policies in response to changes in the business environment.
The program will be valid till June 30, 2024. As of March 31, 2024, the company had 86,748,768 shares (excluding treasury shares) and 812,832 shares in treasury.
