The Board of Directors of Sindoh Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A029530) authorized a share repurchase program on March 6, 2009. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 10 billion worth own shares pursuant to a trust agreement with Shinhan Bank. The purpose behind the program is to stabilize the stock price and to enhance shareholder value. Repurchases will commence on March 6, 2009 and will continue until March 6, 2010. As of March 6, 2009, the company has 187,820 shares under trust agreement.
On March 5, 2010, the company extended the share repurchase program until March 8, 2011.
On March 4, 2011, the company extended the share repurchase program until September 8, 2011.
On September 6, 2011, the company announced that it has extended the program till September 8, 2012. Shinhan Bank acted as the broker for the buyback.
Sindoh Co.,Ltd.'s share repurchase program expired on August 13, 2012. The company terminated the program citing efficient use of funds as the reason.
