Shizuki Electric Company Inc. announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company announced net sales of JPY 4,402 million against JPY 4,904 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 71 million against JPY 216 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 87 million or JPY 2.66 per basic share against JPY 149 million or JPY 5.14 per basic share a year ago.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ending September 30, 2017 and for the full year ending March 31, 2018. For the six months, the company expects to report net sales of JPY 9,800 million, operating income of JPY 490 million, ordinary income of JPY 580 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 240 million or JPY 7.27 per basic share.
For the full year, the company expects to report net sales of JPY 21,000 million, operating income of JPY 1,460 million, ordinary income of JPY 1,650 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 950 million or JPY 28.79 per basic share.
