Samsung Card Co Ltd is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the credit card business. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Credit Card Business segment is engaged in the sale of credit such as the issuing of credit cards, check cards and prepaid cards. In addition, this segment is engaged in credit card business including short-term credit card loans and long-term credit card loans and others. The Installment Finance Business segment is engaged in installment financing, general lending, and factoring. The Other segment is engaged in the business of selling insurance products, deferred payment products, personal information protection products, and mail-order sales, among others, based on member assets.
