PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2019. For the half year, the company announced sales was IDR 29,573,450 million compared to IDR 25,612,651 million a year ago. Operating income was IDR 2,283,217 million compared to IDR 3,453,182 million a year ago. Net income was IDR 1,727,208 million compared to IDR 2,437,300 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was IDR 105 compared to IDR 149 a year ago.
PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk is an Indonesia-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing animal feeds, including poultry feeds and pig feeds. The Company's business activities include broiler breeding, slaughterhouse and nonpoultry meat packing activities, slaughterhouse and poultry meat packing activities, industry of manufacture and preservation of poultry and meat products, industry of frosting of fruits and vegetables, industry of mixed flour and flour dough, industry of food and processed food.
