Polyplex (Thailand) Public Company Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was THB 6,524.78 million compared to THB 5,733.19 million a year ago. Revenue was THB 6,754.54 million compared to THB 6,070.15 million a year ago. Net loss was THB 43.51 million compared to net income of THB 1,122.3 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was THB 0.048 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of THB 1.247 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was THB 20,922.42 million compared to THB 15,229.79 million a year ago. Revenue was THB 21,047.56 million compared to THB 15,438.74 million a year ago. Net income was THB 2,026.76 million compared to THB 2,573.77 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was THB 2.252 compared to THB 2.86 a year ago.
Polyplex (Thailand) Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based manufacturer and distributor of polyester films, metallized films, extrusion coated films, cast polypropylene films, silicone coated films, blown films, holographic films and PET resins. The Company's products categories include Sarafil, Saracote and Saralam. Sarafil products include BOPET, BOPP, CPP, BLOWN PP and sustainable films. Saracote products range of silicone coated films (PET/PP) is designed to provide carrier to pressure sensitive material. The Saralam range of extrusion coated film products cater to a variety of end use such as thermal lamination products like book covers, identity cards, carton lamination and wide format commercial films, among others. The Company has manufacturing & distribution operations in several countries, such as India, Thailand, Turkey, United States of America, Indonesia, China and Netherlands.
