Oeneo SA announced earnings results for the full year ended March 31, 2021. For the full year, the company announced sales was EUR 272.815 million compared to EUR 290.258 million a year ago. Operating income was EUR 44.766 million compared to EUR 42.459 million a year ago. Net income was EUR 31.518 million compared to EUR 28.331 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was EUR 0.49 compared to EUR 0.44 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was EUR 0.48 compared to EUR 0.43 a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was EUR 0.49 compared to EUR 0.46 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was EUR 0.48 compared to EUR 0.45 a year ago.
Oeneo is the world's No. 1 of cooperage for winemaking and the world's No. 2 of wine corking products. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- corking products (70.2%): primarily high-tech cork stoppers for still wines, sparkling wines, and fortified wines, for the Diam and PIETEC lines;
- cooperage (29.8%): casks, barrels, tanks, drums and alternative products (powders, wood chips, and staves) marketed under the Seguin Moreau, Boisé, Tonnellerie Millet, Fine Northern Oak and Galileo brands.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (28.7%), Europe (39%), America (25.1%), Oceania (1.7%) and other (5,5%).
