Northrop Grumman on Tuesday named Kenneth Crews its next chief financial officer, effective Oct. 1, as current CFO Dave Keffer plans to retire.

The defense contractor said Crews is currently vice president of business management and CFO for the Space Systems sector.

Keffer, who has served in the role since 2020, intends to retire Feb. 21 to spend more time with family, the company said.

Northrop Grumman said Crews would become vice president for corporate finance July 1 and work with Keffer to ensure a smooth transition.

Crews was previously CFO for Mission Systems and has worked in multiple sectors at the company. He joined Northrop Grumman in 2004.

The company also noted that president of Mission Systems Mark Caylor would retire effective July 26. Caylor will be succeeded by the president of Defense Systems Roshan Roeder, effective July 1.
