NHOA, formerly Engie EPS, is up more than 4% on the Paris Bourse this Wednesday after being chosen by Vinci Autoroutes following a call for tenders for the deployment of ultra-fast charging stations at four rest areas.

A total of 87 charging stations with a maximum capacity of 150kW will be installed at the Chavanon (A89, north of Ussel), Marguerittes Sud (north of Nîmes on the A9) and Meillac et Saint-Léger Ouest (on the A10 north of Bordeaux towards Paris) rest areas.

These four new stations will be deployed and operated by Atlante, a subsidiary of the NHOA group.

In operation since 2021, this entity currently has more than 1,000 online charging points in four countries (Italy, France, Spain and Portugal), and has set itself the target of installing 5,000 by 2025 and more than 35.00 by 2030.

With 100% of its service areas equipped by the end of the first half of the year, Vinci intends to offer a total of over 1,700 charge points by the end of the year.
