KIMURATAN CORPORATION is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of baby and children's apparels. The Company operates in two business segments. The Apparel segment is engaged in the planning, manufacture and sale of apparel products and related products such as socks, shoes and fashion accessories for babies and children. The Company sales products through the operation of shops inside general merchandise stores (GMSs) and department stores, and the wholesale of products for specialty stores, as well as the direct sale of products for consumers through retail stores and online mail order. The Other segment is engaged in the operation of nursery schools.
