Jhen Vei Electronic Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 272.613 million compared to TWD 219.672 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 10.275 million compared to TWD 4.221 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 8.064 million compared to TWD 3.154 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.08 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 403.886 million compared to TWD 399.599 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1.730 million compared to operating loss of TWD 475,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 3.836 million compared to net loss of TWD 1.083 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.09 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.03 a year ago.
Jhen Vei Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and distribution of connection cable assemblies. The Companyâs connection cable assemblies are applied in monitors, liquid crystal displays (LCDs), laptop computers, hosts, communication devices and computer peripheral products. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture and distribution of network communication safety equipment. The network communication safety equipment is applied in servers, traffic control and power protection as well as network communication safety equipment for vulnerability scanning and real-time security monitoring. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan and to overseas markets, including Asia and Europe.
