IQGeo Group PLC - Cambridge, England-based provider of geospatial productivity and collaboration software for the telecoms and utility industries - Says an unnamed "top 10" US telecom and fibre operator has selected its fibre planning and design software for an initial three-year contract. Deal is worth over USD2.5 million including recurring revenue, licences, hosting and professional services. Client will use IQGeo's Comsof Fiber software to accelerate fibre deployments and time-to-revenue by automating its planning and design process. Project also includes deploying IQGeo's Network Revenue Optimizer software to help streamline its quoting process for new fibre connections. Company adds that client "has aggressive broadband expansion ambitions".

Chief Executive Officer Richard Petti says: "This new project illustrates the value our network lifecycle strategy is delivering to new and existing customers. Our proven Comsof Fiber software will provide the essential automation needed to rapidly scale their fibre rollout, while creating a strong foundation to expand our software footprint across additional lifecycle stages."
