COPENHAGEN, March 14 (Reuters) - Swedish debt collector Intrum on Thursday said it had appointed advisors to evaluate improvements of its debt capital structure, including to explore refinancing and options to enhance its capital structure.

"These appointments are a proactive initiative where we will evaluate possible improvements to our balance sheet and financial profile in line with our business plan," CEO Andres Rubio said in a statement.

Intrum's estimated remaining collections cover nearly all of the company's debt, Rubio added.
