Hong Yi Fiber Ind. Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 490.889 million compared to TWD 144.649 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 53.065 million compared to operating loss of TWD 34.922 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 108.530 million compared to net loss of TWD 19.394 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.82 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.15 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,004.251 million compared to TWD 517.994 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 120.031 million compared to operating loss of TWD 9.263 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 243.097 million compared to net loss of TWD 15.553 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.83 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.12 a year ago.
HONG YI FIBER IND. CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and marketing of textured polyester yarns. The products of the Company include ultra-fine finished fiber yarns, full-dull yarns, colorful three tone yarns, environmental friendly finished yarns and yarns for layered cloth.
