Hong Leong Asia Ltd. appointed Ms. Kwek Pei Xuan as Executive Director. Ms. Kwek Pei Xuan's appointment as an Executive Director was recommended by the Nominating Committee and approved by the Board of Directors (the "Board"), based on the Company's Board diversity targets which cover amongst others Board size and mix of skills, knowledge, experience and other aspects of diversity such as gender and age. The Board is of the view that Ms Kwek's qualification and experience in the area of sustainability would provide further diversity to the core competencies and skill set of the Board and promote gender diversity.
