Haatz Inc. (KOSDAQ:A066130) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 1,500 million worth of its shares pursuant to a contract with Samsung Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose of the repurchase program is to increase shareholder value by increasing stock value. The repurchase program is valid till September 25, 2020. As of March 25, 2020, the company had 579,377 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had no shares in treasury through other repurchase.
HAATZ Inc. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of kitchen appliances. The Company produces hoods, including platinum hoods, decoration hoods, system hoods and hood accessories, such as fire extinguishers, automation ventilation sensors, ion clusters and others used for kitchen ventilation, as well as built-in appliances, including electric cook tops, gas cook tops, gas ovens, electric ovens, dish washers, dish dryers, refrigerators and others. The Company also engages in the construction of residential dynamic ventilation systems. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
