Grupo Traxión, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:TRAXION A) is looking for acquisitions. Traxion, announced the successful raising of USD 292 million in the stock market. This capital injection will enable the company to finance emerging opportunities driven by the nearshoring trend.
Aby Lijtszain, co-founder and CEO emphasized that the success of this transaction is the result of months of strategic planning. The objective of this strategy is to strengthen Traxión's position as the undisputed leader in the sector in financial, operational, technological and commercial terms. In addition, Lijtszain emphasized that this stock market move represents a transformational injection of resources for the company and will be the catalyst for accelerated growth in the short term. Recognizing the nearshoring phenomenon as a paradigm shift, Traxion intends to allocate approximately 80% of the funds raised to organic growth.
This will focus primarily on the expansion of its fleet for passenger mobility services. To complement this strategy and further strengthen its position in the sector, the remaining 20% will be directed to acquisitions and integrations that will enhance its operations and business relationships in the region.
