Last night, Fountaine Pajot reported a 26.2% increase in sales for its 2022/2023 fiscal year, which ended at the end of August, thanks to continued 'excellent' sales momentum.

The pleasure-boat manufacturer reports sales of 277.3 million euros for the year, compared with 219.8 million euros for the previous year.

The group says this performance reflects both higher sales volumes and a favorable product mix, underpinned by the quality and breadth of its entire range.

By destination, the company generated 82% of its sales from exports, with Europe accounting for 45% of sales, North America for 16% and major exports for 17%.

Given the quality of its portfolio of onboard orders and its "high-performance" industrial organization, the company says it expects to continue its growth in fiscal 2023/24.

Fountaine Pajot plans to invest some 3.5 million euros in the current financial year, to improve working conditions and safety for its employees, and to expand its Aigrefeuille workshop.

The Paris Bourse share price climbed more than 12% on Friday following these announcements.
