Drecom Co., Ltd. (TSE:3793) signed a letter of intent to acquire gaming business from Studio King Co., Ltd for ¥520 million on November 13, 2019. On January 17, 2020, Drecom Co., Ltd. (TSE:3793) entered into share transfer agreement to acquire gaming business from Studio King Co., Ltd. The acquisition price will be paid in 19 installments from the date of the transfer, and the payment amount will be ¥29 million only in March 2020. Gaming Business reported sales of ¥2.13 billion and operation income of ¥511 million. The transaction is expected to close on March 2, 2020.
Drecom Co., Ltd. (TSE:3793) completed the acquisition of gaming business from Studio King Co., Ltd on March 2, 2020. As of May 11, 2020, the transfer price will be adjusted to ¥539 million. The payment will be divided into 19 times after the stock transfer date.
Drecom Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the provision of contents service including social games and education contents. The Company operates in two business segments. The Contents Service segment is engaged in the planning, development and operation of entertainment contents for smartphones, mainly social games and educational contents. The segment consists of social games business and social learning business. The Advertising Media Service segment focuses on the reward type advertisement service, engages in the planning and development of services related to enterprise marketing activities through the Internet, as well as the planning, development and operation of media contents for smartphones and personal computers.
