Munich, Germany, April 9, 2014 - The Experton Group has recognized Germany's leading software suppliers and IT service providers as part of its Mobile Enterprise Vendor Benchmark 2014 study .

The Mobile Enterprise Leader Awards were presented at an exclusive evening event on April 8 at Schlosshotel Kronberg in Germany. All of the winners are companies with an extremely attractive portfolio of products and services in the field of enterprise mobility and a very strong position both in the market and within their competitive environment. The vendors named as leaders are considered strategic pacemakers and opinion leaders.

These leaders were chosen on the basis of an assessment completed as part of the Mobile Enterprise Vendor Benchmark 2014, an independent supplier study conducted by the Experton Group. Selection and evaluation criteria include the firms' strategy , product and service portfolio, completed projects, revenues generated, technological maturity, and innovation potential.

Owing to its extensive enterprise mobility capabilities and solutions for both small to medium and medium to large companies, CANCOM ranks among the suppliers named as leaders in the fields of mobile enterprise consulting, mobile device management services, and managed workplace services.

"Mobility has a massive influence on the way we work and communicate today. This makes it a key driver for corporate cloud computing. We at CANCOM are already using the workplace of the future - we communicate and work with one another efficiently and in a standardized fashion using a private cloud, whether via notebook, tablet or smartphone, independent of operating system securely via enterprise LAN or via internet, anytime and an any place. That makes us an experienced cloud transformation partner for our clients, and thanks to our extensive CANCOM Business Cloud portfolio with our private desktop cloud solution CANCOM AHP Private Cloud we have a proprietary tool for managed workplace services," said Rudolf Hotter, COO of CANCOM SE, describing the TecDAX-listed company's positioning.

The Experton Group's analysts believe that mobile enterprise experienced a major breakthrough in 2013, with a move away from the device-based hype towards genuine support and optimization of business processes. In the market researchers' view, the mobility trend will continue at the vast majority of companies in 2014 and 2015, prompting further growth in the market for solutions and services.
