Bourbon Corporation (TSE:2208) announced a private placement of 280,000 treasury shares at ¥1,232 per share for gross proceeds of ¥344,960,000 on August 20, 2013. The transaction will include participation from existing investors, The Daishi Bank, Ltd. and The Hokuetsu Bank,Ltd., which will subscribe to 170,000 shares and 110,000 shares respectively. On closing of the transaction, The Daishi Bank, Ltd. will increase its stake from 3.50% to 4.11% and The Hokuetsu Bank,Ltd. will increase its stake from 3.32% to 3.72%. The company will issue shares by third-party allocation. The transaction will have net proceeds of ¥343,000,000, after deducting various expenses of ¥1,000,000 associated with the disposal of shares. The transaction has disposal date of September 10, 2013.
On September 10, 2013, Bourbon Corporation closed the transaction.
