FUNDiT Co., Ltd. announced that it has received an equity round of funding on June 30, 2023. The transaction included participation from new investors Founder Foundry Fund No. 2, a fund managed by NOW, Inc. and AirTrip Corp.
The company will received funding through third-party allotment of shares. The transaction was approved by the shareholders of the company at its extraordinary general meeting.
AirTrip Corp is a Japan-based company engaged in the online travel business, information technology (IT) offshore development business and investment business. The Company has three business segments. The Online Travel segment is engaged in the Internet sale of domestic air tickets and other travel products through operating travel products direct sale websites, providing travel contents under the brands of affiliated companies, and centralized management of procedures and arrangements related to business travel. The Company is also engaged in the Japan travel business such as camper cars rental and currency exchange business for foreign visitors. The IT Offshore Development segment is engaged in the provision of lab type system development services and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The Investment segment is engaged in the investment business in growth and revitalization companies. The Company is also engaged in the advertising business.
