Othaim Holding Company agreed to acquire 13.65% of stake in Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Company from Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets Company for approximately SAR 850 million.

Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company SJSC is a Saudi Arabia-based joint stock company, engaged in food supplies retail and wholesale. The activities of the Company include wholesale and retail trade of food, fish, meat, agricultural products, livestock and household items. The company is also engaged in establishing, managing, operating and maintaining supermarkets, commercial, complexes, bakeries, providing cooked and uncooked, catering services and managing training and educational centers in addition to; acquiring lands to construct buildings for lease or sale for the interest of the Company. The Company also provides import, export and marketing services to others. The company's subsidiaries include Al Othaim Markets and Mueen Recruitment Co. amongst others.
