Yuasa Trading Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2021. For the year, the company reported net sales of JPY 432,185 million compared to JPY 491,348 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 8,983 million compared to JPY 11,871 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 6,930 million compared to JPY 8,923 million a year ago. Earnings per share were JPY 313.03 compared to JPY 403.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were JPY 310.87 compared to JPY 400.52 a year ago.
YUASA TRADING CO., LTD. is mainly engaged in the sale of industrial machinery and equipment. The Industrial Equipment segment is engaged in the sale of tools, industrial equipment, control equipment and logistics equipment. The Industrial Machinery segment is engaged in the sale of industrial machinery and equipment. The Housing Equipment, Piping and Air Conditioning segment is involved in the sale of piping, air conditioning equipment and housing equipment, the design, supervision and contracting of construction works, and the trading of land and buildings. The Construction and Exterior segment is involved in the sale of construction materials, as well as materials for landscape, exterior and civil engineering use. The Construction Machinery segment is involved in the sale and leasing of construction machinery and materials. The Energy segment is involved in the sale of petroleum products.
