Yokowo Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended September 2020. For the period, the company reported Net Sales were JPY 27,111 million against JPY 29,933 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 2,049 million against JPY 2,504 million a year ago. Ordinary profit was JPY 1,716 million against JPY 2,211 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,272 million or JPY 62.69 per basic share against JPY 1,645 million or JPY 81.30 per basic share a year ago.
YOKOWO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of various types of electronic equipment. The Company operates in three business segments. The Vehicle Communication equipment segment supplies various of on-board antennas covering broad frequency ranges, including those for inter-vehicle and road-to-vehicle communications in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems, in step with trends towards more compact composite models, media diversification and radio frequency identifier (RFID) support. The Circuit Testing Connectors segment provides connectors and test systems for the front to back-end testing. The Wireless Communication Equipment segment provides connectors for small mobile devices and point of sale (POS) devices.
