Danone S.A. (ENXTPA:BN) launched the disposal of its remaining 6.61% interest in Yakult Honsha Co.,Ltd. (TSE:2267) as part of its strategy to bolster its balance sheet, a bourse filing showed. Existing commercial partnerships, including joint ventures in India and Vietnam, will be retained, Danone said. The sale will take place through an accelerated bookbuilding process.
The stake is estimated to be worth around EUR 500 million (USD 589 million), according to analysts cited by Reuters.
