Westinghouse air brake technology is an American company specialized in heavy machinery. Their products are set off in three major ranges: railroad, transit and industrial applications. Founded in 1872, the company is now merged with MotivePower Industries, specialist in locomotive machinery.

From fundamental viewpoint, the company published on April 24th its earnings for the first quarter up to the consensus. Net income and EPS are 10% up to the previsions respectively at 59.3 million dollars and 1.22 dollars. Expectations for year 2012 are regularly revised upward and Thomson-Reuters consensus is expecting an average target price at USD 90.
