Volcan is replacing CEO Juan José Herrera, who spearheaded the company's $1 billion expansion plan over the past five years. Herrera, who headed the company since April 2009, will be replaced as of April 2 by Juan Ignacio Rosado, deputy manager since October 2010. Rosado was formerly CFO of Hochschild and worked at consultant firm Mckinsey in addition to serving on the board of directors at Lake Shore Gold and Zincore Metals.
