Vinci has reported consolidated sales of 15.7 billion euros for the 1st quarter of 2024, up 4.8% (organic growth: +4.2%) on the same period a year earlier.

On a like-for-like basis, the Cobras IS business grew by 7.6%, ahead of the Concessions business (+5.3%), Vinci Energies (+3.8%) and Vinci Construction (+3.8%). Only the Real Estate business was down, at -16.1%.

Vinci also reported an 11% increase in its order book to €66.7 billion, driven by a 19% rise in new orders to €18.5 billion.

Against this backdrop, Vinci confirms its outlook for 2024, forecasting a further increase in sales, albeit less than that achieved in 2023.

Although the company refers to the French government's new tax on long-distance transport infrastructure (estimated at around 280 million euros), Vinci believes that net income in 2024 could be 'close to the level achieved in 2023'.
