A former Schneider Electric executive is to take charge of human resources at Verallia, the glass packaging specialist announced on Monday.

Katia de Saint Germain had been vice-president of human resources for the Schneider Electric group's medium-voltage industrial perimeter since 2020, which includes nearly 8,000 employees at 30 plants worldwide.

She joined the group in 2005 as deputy director of investor relations, before moving into human resources in 2011.

Before joining the industrial sector, this Paris Dauphine and HEC graduate began her career in banking at Crédit Lyonnais and in broadcasting at TF1.

She will join the group's executive committee, reporting directly to Patrice Lucas, CEO of the glass bottle and jar manufacturer.
